Reagan turns 2.

Monday was Reagan's 2nd birthday. We are celebrating it Saturday, but I couldn't miss this milestone...even though it is Thursday. Whatever.

She celebrated Monday by waking up to burnt cinnamon rolls. So, daddy went to McDonald's.
She liked that better. Her bff/boyfriend Luke came over and gave her a birthday present and hug. We then went to Chick-fil-a, Milberger's to play in the maze and enjoy the beautiful day and later that night to our friend Rachel & Willy's to celebrate her birthday. She's much older than Reagan, but we'll pretend she turned 21. ;) We also took her pacifier away. She is still asking for it, but doing great. It's day 4 with no paci. It has taken everything in me to not give in.

I can not believe that Reagan is 2. This child is one of a kind. She is not only independent, sweet and stubborn, but she is GIRLY. With a capital G-I-R-L-Y. She asks me every morning to put a bow in her hair and if she can wear a dress. She loves babies, purses, lipgloss and jewelry.

She'll be even more spoiled on Saturday. We are so proud of our little girl and who she is becoming. Thank you God for our Reagan Elizabeth!

A little of this, a little of that...

* I made meatloaf the other night. I've made it before, but never for Jason. How odd that I haven't done that in 7 years. He apparently loved it because he had 3 more helpings. Plus my kids ate it.

* This is Reagan's room. I recently added a few touches, but I didn't take that picture. Jenn helped me with it awhile back and I just added Reagan's things. This isn't a very good picture. Actually, no. It's a horrible picture. Oh well.

* I have a bad cold. My throat hurts. My head hurts. I need a maid..... Huh? What? Where did that come from?

* God is good. All the time!

Christmas in September!!

This week, my Mom gifted me the most amazing thing ever. Dishes.

Not just any dishes though.

These dishes!!!
I have been wanting these dishes forever. They are Villeroy & Boch and have been something I've been eyeing since Jason and I got married. Unfortunately, they were not on our priorities of things to get..(wink, wink). I love how the Lord works though. My mom has had them and has been collecting all the pieces over the past few years. Plates, bowls, saucers, trays, platters, serving bowls, coffee pot, etc. She had it all.

And she gave it to me!! This is very blog worthy to me. I could not contain my excitement any longer. I can't wait to have people over to use it!

I can't believe we are going to do this again...

i can't wait to see this very same

daddy

kiss this baby girl.

When we had Jackson I fell in love with Jason all over again. He is the BEST daddy and truly adores his children. But even more so...there is something incredibly sweet about him when he holds and meets newborn babies. And even more than that, when he sees HIS babies. I will NEVER forget those moments as long as I live. I can't wait to see that again!

My Big Day

So last week our church staff spent the day at Lake LBJ in Marble Falls. It was an amazing day for 4 good reasons.

1. There was good food and that makes everything better.

2. Play. We got to play all day. In the water. On boats. Who doesn't love that?

3. I was with my friends. Our staff are some of the most amazing people I know. We love each other. We make fun of each other. We keep each others kids. We laugh together. We cry together. We yell at each other and then we make up over ice cream.

4. I got baptized. :)

It was very spur of the moment. I had been wanting to do this
FOREVER...
It's a long story...
I asked Jason and Sean to baptize me. Sean asked me to speak.
I cried. So did everyone else. :)

It was truly a celebration. A memory.

All my favorite people were there. (Except my family and some friends, of course!) I will always remember this day.

Mark 1:8 "I baptize you with water, but he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit."

20 weeks and counting

Sunday marked my 20th week. I am so ready for this be over....

I am such a bad pregnant person.

This is really my first picture. I have not wanted to share pictures of myself because I have honestly felt "not very pretty" these days. However, I promised some friends that I would. You know who you are.

Next Monday at 11:00 am is my sonogram to find out what we are having. I am more curious with this one than I have EVER been! I cant wait!!

God is so good to me though. I feel very blessed and I love chinese food.

Breathtakingly beautiful.

I see beauty.
Overwhelming beauty.
And thankfulness.

It takes my breath away.

Thank you, Bre. :)

I'm so proud...

The Lord brought us together....

I just keep reminding myself of that. ;)

Starbucks wins again.

Now, I never said that I would stop going to Starbucks for Iced Pumpkin Spice coffee. I said it might kill me, but I never said I would stop going. If I die with 400 oz of iced coffee in me, so be it.

I had to go this morning after the class I taught. I am teaching a music class at RCBA. The kids were a little disagreeable with how I was teaching them rhythm. I told them I was the teacher and they had to listen to me. It felt good. Especially since I learned I am a sanguine personality and that my personality would be for people to "like" me. I didn't much care about that today. I was exercising my authority for good use. If you learn how to take direction now, you will better understand authority when your future boss tells you to go to the bottom of the warehouse to find legal documents that were infested with mice droppings and mold. It could happen to anyone.

See these 2 boys? This is them walking in sheer disobedience. Look at those faces! I took this picture Monday at Sonic. They were running around the building being hooligans. One day when they are in the bottom of that warehouse I will tell them they should have listened to us.

And then there is this precious girl.
Poor thing had to go to the ER last week for what we thought was a UTI. She was being so good while we waited forever and a day. I just loved how sweet she looked here and had to share.

It's Thursday. Tomorrow's Friday. Thank you, Jesus!

This heat will kill me...if Starbucks doesn't.

I have not been a good blogger. I have been so busy.

Okay, I may not be all that busy, but I am tired. Exhausted is more like it. And that's not because I my plate is all that full. It's because I'm pregnant. Either way, I'm tired. And rambling.

This week I realized a few things.

*Like the fact that I hated my blog. I didn't like the look and I was bored.
*I'm in love. With my iPhone. Wow.
*I'm Sanguine. I took a personality test and found this out. That means that I am...

  • Light hearted
  • Fun
  • A people person
  • Loves to extend hospitality
  • A peace maker
  • Enjoys children
  • Spontaneous
and

  • Scatter brained
  • Impulsive
  • Doesn’t finish what they start
  • May avoid facing problems
  • Takes on more than they have time for
That's pretty right on. Although....I don't like the weaknesses. :)

*I have to start getting up earlier. I've set my alarm for 6:30 am everyday this week and I have accomplished the impossible. Quiet time. Breakfast. Shower. It's been great!
*I want TV back.
*I am 18 weeks pregnant and I felt the baby move.
*I am addicted to Twitter.
*I love the idea of cleaning, but I'd rather have a maid.
*I am going to be poor if I don't resist the return of Pumpkin Spice Lattes at Starbucks.
*I'm ready for fall and doing the rain dance outside doesn't help it come. Trust me.

I'm going to blog more. I promise. :)
