Moving on

Last Monday we received word of our appraisal. It appraised at exactly our asking price! I did a couple of cartwheels, whoops and jumped around like a crazy person. Actually, Aaron and Bre were over when the news came, so I just stood in the kitchen grinning from ear to ear.

Once again, God has confirmed this faith step to us and we couldn't be more excited.  I took the past week to begin packing and had a garage sale on Saturday. Thanks to some awesome friends we have made a ton of headway.  We have purged, packed and will finish the rest this week because we are officially moving on Saturday morning!  I truly can't believe that this has happened so fast.  It's going to be a busy and exciting weekend.

Here are a couple of things that you can pray for during our move:

1. That it would happen smoothly and that I would remain my normal, calm and collected self. What?? Are you saying that I am not normally like that?  That I am more of a high stress, high anxiety type person in situations like this? I didn't think so.  Nonetheless, pray anyway.  ;)

2. Pray for Jackson. We will officially take him out of his beloved Longs Creek Elementary this Friday. We all love the school a lot, but the school that he will be going to in New Braunfels has GREAT reviews. Pray that he would have a smooth transition this Friday and into his new school in January.

3. Pray that we be a light to our neighborhood and the people that live on our cul-de-sac. We know that we haven't been placed in this community by accident.

God has been blowing us away.  Jason and I were talking yesterday about how we can't believe that this has all happened in just 1 year.  We have much to be thankful for this Christmas. Thanks for following us on our journey and for ALL your love, support and prayers. You really have no idea what it means to have people believing in us!

Very excited for y'all but so sad to see Jackson go. Maybe I'll bring my camera to pick up sometime this week and snap one of him and Luce together. It's been great to be neighbors, even for just a small time. :)
