I'm feeling blue.

We've been in our home for 2 years and I am finally painting something other than our living room/kitchen.

I've been wanting to paint our bedroom forever, but I guess it's one of the last things to get done when life keeps you busy! Jason loves for our home to be a place of refuge. I have been thinking about that a lot lately and because of our demanding schedules at times, I really wanted our home to be just that. When Jason gets home from work the first place he goes is the bedroom. So...
it's now a pretty blue.

Refuge. Love that word.

Doesn't it make you feel safe?

Just like this room. It looks safe and inviting. Thanks to my awesome sister-in-law, who helped me paint, it is painted and pretty. Now, there is nothing on the wall above my bed yet, but at least it's painted.

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. "I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust."

I love it! Mostly because it's what we painted ours and it's my favorite color! ;)

Natalie, it is beeeeeautiful! It has an ethereal soothing feel. But I will say that paint or no -- your house has had a "refuge" feel since Day 1, and it has only gotten more cozy and wonderful the more of your magic, loving touches that you've added along the way! WELLLLL DONE!!!
