Cuteness
We went to a birthday party on Monday at Chuckie Cheese and I think Aaron had a little too much fun!

The Weekend
Friday night we went to play putt-putt golfing at Embassy Golf with the college group and I ....lost....bad. It was a blast nonetheless. Anyone in a wheel chair or someone who can't walk up stairs could never play there though. It was so mad!!!! We had Jackson's stroller with us and had to carry it up the stairs after every hole. Next time I will carry him on my back or get a babysitter. (JK)
We kept my neice Abby and nephew Carson last night while Aaron and Bre celebrated their 4th anniversary! We had a blast with them. It's exciting to see them all grow up together. Happy Anniversary Aaron and Bre. You are the best!

New adventures
Okay so I'm back from Chicago. Simply amazing. My creative tank is full and I'm ready to unleash the ideas!! You will hopefully see many if you attend River City. I needed it so bad.
I got back from Chicago and Jackson cried. Odd huh? I got in the car and he smiled and then broke down into tears. It was the saddest moment. It took him a couple of days to realize I wasn't leaving him. Everytime I put him in bed he would scream bloody murder. So glad that's over. :)
Jackson has been talking up a storm for all you family people wanting to know. He says "Hi Daddy", "Uh Oh", "Mama", "Hi", "Bye-Bye" and still screams at random things. Oh and he realizes what cell phones do. What's sad is that when I'm driving and he's playing with mine he somehow knows to talk on it then. How sad is that? I'm not a good example I guess.
NO, NO, NO he's not walking. Part of me is glad though because the minute he does I will never stop. He is almost there, but I would give it another month or so.
So have any of you been to Portland?? If so, please let me know all the REALLY cool things to do there. Any less than "really cool" and I will be upset. You know that cool people must do cool things.

H - Town
We had an great time in Houston. My baby sister turned 20!!! She's not 21 yet though. That's all I have to say. :) Friday evening we had a birthday party for her and had the whole family over. Even my Mom came in. Which was weird because she could have come up with us...but oh well. It was really great to see my brother again too. I feel like I never even get to see him anymore. He showed Jackson how to play the drums...which is always hilarious.
The night went fast and Saturday morning we woke up around 8:00 to go and see baby Addyson. She is such a doll. I love her so much and have missed her and her mom and dad!! :)
My favorite picture has to be the one of me and my family. THe twins are missing, but it's like the only one I have of all 3 of us with my Mom.
I'm leaving for Chicago tomorrow! Whoo hoo!!

Off to Houston
Jason and I are going to Houston this weekend. We are leaving today and coming back Saturday so it will a pretty short trip. It's been crazy around here....
After Jackson's 1st birthday it seems like we have gone non-stop...which is actually pretty normal for us, but still it's crazy. We had our college retreat last Thursday - Saturday. It was a blast!!! Here is a picture of me and some of the girls at the lake. Soo much fun!
Next week I'm going to Chicago for an arts conference. I'm extremely excited about it. My good friend and boss, Darna, is going with me and I'm looking forward to getting my head filled with lots of creativity!!
We have a pretty jam packed summer ahead of us, but it's going to be a lot of fun. This time last year Jackson was just born and I decided to take him to youth camp with me. It was very hard, but I did it...now that same very week this year he's going to Portland, Oregon with us for a conference. This will be an interesting plane ride.
Well, I will keep you posted!
