Jackson's 1st Birthday!!!!

Time has gone by so fast. Jackson turned 1 yesterday. That's right....the big fat 1. My heart is happy and sad all at once. :0)

We celebrated at the pool and captured some precious moments on camera. Pretty soon Jackson will be 2 and this will only be a memory, but until this I'm hanging on to that cake smashed in his face! Ha. He actually smashed it in his own face.

For a small second time seemed to stop yesterday and I felt so loved. We even were left presents on our front door for him. God is really good to us.

Swim Time!!

Jason, Jackson and I went to the pool on Wednesday and had a blast. We joined a gym back in the fall that has an amazing pool that is very family friendly. It was a lot of fun, but Jackson did NOT want to take pictures with his Mom or Dad. He sure did love the water though!

My great friend Michelle had her baby girl. Her name is Addyson Faith and she is BEAUTIFUL!!! I'm so happy for her and can't wait to see her.

Jackson is turning 1 on Monday. I can't believe my baby is growing up! :(

weekly happenings

So I have had something every night this week. I just sat down to write about it all and then my computer lost it all.

This is truly depressing.

Jason is gone in Chicago...lucky him. :) I miss him.

I've decided that there should be weekly pedicures and massages written into the marriage contract. Okay no, I don't have a marriage contract, but I still think it should be a law or something. Actually if you are a women and have millions of responsibilites (and we all do...) that should be a law.

I'm exhausted and need a vacation with just Jason and I. "sigh...."

A day with the family!

My sister-in-law is THE most amazing photographer if I say so myself. She took some pictures of us last week and I had to post these. She really is one of the only people that makes me feel good in pictures. I love how she has captured Jackson in these pictures. It just made my Mother's Day extra special when I got these printed out!

In other news happenings....Daniel and Amanda had their baby. Her name is Annabelle Christine Espinoza and she is BEAUTIFUL!!!!! She has the most gorgeous dark brown hair and the most beautiful skin for a newborn. I am so happy for them! I know how hard it is those first couple of weeks and it can be scary bringing a newborn home so I am praying for you guys! They are already such amazing parents.
